The rodeo is over. The competitors and tourists have left. Cheyenne now has its town back.

It's an odd feeling. One day we can't even go to the grocery store without getting caught in traffic. The next day it'a like half the town has been abandoned. If you think about it, that's not too far from true.

Here are 5 things Cheyenne people do after they get their town back.

1). Slowly open their front door, eyes darting back and forth, and ask, 'they gone?"

2). Stand in the middle of the street to see how long it takes before they see an out-of-state licence plate.

3). Road trip to the grocery store to see if anything is left.

4). Talk to strangers, because that stranger is actually from Cheyenne, not out-of-state or country.

5). Rest.
