The cooler weather and rising water levels are making for some good fishing across The Cowboy State. It will also be considerably less crowded for a good spot to drop a line.

Dry flies, nymphs and streamers should produce along The North Platte River, Encampment River and The North Platte River – Gray Reef and Miracle Mile. They seem to be reporting the best fishing in the state right now.

Glendo is spotty, but there are Walleye being reeled in. The beaver ponds at Pole Mountain would also be a good choice to catch dinner.
