‘Album Side Sunday’ Features Peter Gabriel’s ‘So’ Release from 1986
Are you heading to Red Rocks for the Peter Gabriel concert on Sunday?
We're going to help you get ready for the show by playing side 2 of his 'So' album on 'Your Sunday Brunch.'
It's the last weekend of September so we'll be featuring Peter Gabriel on our 'Album Side Sunday' at the beginning of the 8 o'clock hour.
'So' was released in 1986, a remastered 25th-anniversary edition was released this month with a bonus DVD 'Live in Athens 1987.'
Tracks to be featured on 'Your Sunday Brunch' include:
1. 'In Your Eyes' (used in the John Cusack movie 'Say Anything')
2. 'Mercy Street' (dedicated to the poet Anne Sexton who wrote the play 'Mercy Street')
3. 'Big Time'
4. 'We Do What We're Told (Milgram's 37)'
5. 'This Is The Picture (Excellent Birds)' (co-written by Laurie Anderson)
The last track was not included on the original vinyl release, but was added to the audio cassette and CD versions. We're throwing it in as a bonus track on our 'Album Side Sunday.'
