A Rock Springs man is facing several charges after allegedly crashing a truck into a home on Friday afternoon, according to a post on the Rock Springs Police Department Facebook page.

According to the post, police were called to Dewar Drive in Rock Springs around 1:30 p.m. Friday on a report of a vehicle crash. When they arrived, they found a truck owned by Intermountain Electric had left the south side of the roadway and crashed into a home. No one was in the home at the time, but there was extensive damage to both the vehicle and the house.

The driver of the vehicle, Nicholas Sheridan, was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where he was treated for minor injuries. He was then arrested for 3rd offense driving while under the influence and failing to maintain a single lane. He was then issued more citations for sniffing glue and other toxic vapors.

He was also found to have a Laramie County warrant for vehicular homicide, according to police.
