Due to boiler issues, the Cheyenne Municipal Building will be closed until further notice starting tomorrow, Oct. 15, the city said Thursday.

"The safety and wellbeing of our employees, and the citizens who visit our building, is and always will be paramount,” Mayor Patrick Collins said in a press release.

"With that said, we need our Municipal Building employees to work remotely until issues with the building’s boiler are resolved," he added.

City spokesman Michael Skinner says city employees will remain available to the public via email and office phone numbers that will be rerouted to cell phones.
