Cheyenne Central's Taylor Gebhart will continue her softball career at Lake Region State in North Dakota.

Gebhart was an all-state selection this past season as Central placed 2nd at the state tournament and Gebhart pitched in both the semi-finals and the state championship game. On the season in the circle, she threw 22 and 2 thirds innings with 26 strikeouts. She was used as a utility player when she wasn't pitching.

At the plate, Gebhart hit a whopping.429 with 5 home runs and 17 runs batted in. She also has extensive experience at the club level, playing with the Cheyenne Extreme program for 7 years and the WYCO program this past summer.

Gebhart also competed at the 4A Girls State Swimming meet in Gillette and placed 4th in the 500 freestyle and 6th in the 200 freestyle. She also swam on the 400 free relay team that took 2nd at the state meet.

Lake Region State is a junior college in Devil's Lake, North Dakota.
