Now, I'm sure your calendar is starting to look pretty full. So I'll leave you with a fun fact: The U.S. recognizes three cultural holidays in December, and more than a dozen religious holidays are celebrated throughout the month. The three main cultural holidays are Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. This year, Hanukkah falls on December 18-26, Kwanzaa on the 26, and Christmas Day Observed also falls on the 26.
Some of the religious holidays celebrated throughout the month include the Catholic holiday of St. Nicholas Day on December 6, the Buddhis holiday Rohatsu (Bodhi Day) on December 8, and the Christian holiday of Watch Night on December 31. Rounding out the December holidays is New Year's Eve on December 31. With so many holidays set in one month, it's no wonder that December has become one of the most magical months of the year!
