Cheyenne Community Bands Together for Fire Assistance

Multiple businesses in Cheyenne are currently accepting donations for firefighters working to contain the Badger Creek fire.

High priority items include:

• Gatorade
• Water
• Bug spray

Other items requested are:

• Eye drops
• Sunscreen
• Bandanas
• Lip balm
• Jerky, granola bars, and other snack items
• Wet wipes
• Socks

There are two businesses in Cheyenne currently accepting donations. The first is Provisions, located at 1711 Carey Avenue. They will be accepting donations until 8 p.m. and all items will be taken to the Laramie Fire Department tomorrow morning.

Eileen's Cookies, located at 3757 Lincolnway, will be accepting donations through next week during store hours, but don't have an end date set in stone. Eileen's is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
