Cheyenne Man Arrested for Robbery
A Cheyenne man is behind bars after police say he robbed a gas station in east Cheyenne late Saturday night.
Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says officers were called to a robbery at the Kum & Go at 3354 E. Lincolnway around 11:45 p.m.
Malatesta says the robber, later identified as 23-year-old Paul Reynolds, demanded money from the clerk and then ran from the gas station.
Police found Reynolds hiding in a nearby alley and, after a brief foot chase, arrested him on suspicion of robbery and interference with a peace officer.
The case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
