A 66-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly pointing a handgun at his wife.

Court documents say deputies were called to Donald Westbrook, Sr.'s home around 6:45 p.m. Sunday after his wife reported the alleged incident.

The woman told deputies that her son and husband had gotten into a wrestling match over her son plugging his TV in in the kitchen.

Making statements to the effect of I will show you, Westbrook reportedly went out to the garage to grab his gun out his truck.

Westbrook's wife said she tried to lock him out of the house, but he attempted to push past her and pointed the gun at her saying, "I will take someone out."

The woman says her husband eventually stopped, went back to the garage and then went upstairs.

Westbrook was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery-threatens with weapon. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

Westbrook is free on a $5,000 at 10 percent bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 13 in Laramie County Circuit Court.
