A 25-year-old Cheyenne man wanted on a probation violation now faces felony drug charges after police found methamphetamine in his jacket.

Court records say Ross Maez was arrested on Sunday afternoon after authorities located him in the parking lot at the Outlaw Saloon.

When police retrieved Maez's identification card from his jacket, they reportedly found 13.9 grams of methamphetamine in the inner liner.

According to an affidavit, Maez admitted to purchasing half an ounce of methamphetamine with the purpose of distribution.

Maez was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and felony possession of methamphetamine.  If convicted, he could face up to 27 years in prison.

Maez is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $5,000 cash bond.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 11 at 10:30 a.m.
