The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of unsettled weather, including possible strong winds and hail.

Today and Thursday have better chances for the storms, with less of a probability on Wednesday. The agency posted this statement on its website early Tuesday:

"Next few days are expected to be unsettled with thunderstorm chances later this afternoon and again on Thursday with Wednesday being quiet thunderstorm wise. We are in the early weeks of summertime convective severe weather. Please take these quieter and general thunderstorm weather days to ensure YOU have multiple means to receive weather alerts including potential watches and warnings later this summer. It may just save your life. These convective outlooks WILL change so be sure to monitor forecasts for changes."
