The Winter Storm Warning highlights areas where 8-12 inches of snow is possible. The Winter Weather Advisory highlights areas where 3-6 inches with locally higher amounts can be expected. An additional 4-8 inches is possible in the snowy/Sierra Madre mountain ranges.
