The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe thunderstorms are possible in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle on Sunday, May 26.

The storms could feature hail, tornadoes and some possible flooding.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Saturday May 26:

''The Storm Prediction Center has parts of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska panhandle in a severe weather outlook for Sunday, May 26. All modes of severe weather are possible in areas mainly east of I-25. Make sure to stay weather aware, and know your plan for your friends, family, and pets in the event that a warning is issued.''
