The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of large hail, strong winds, and possibly even a couple of tornadoes in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle today (Seot.11).

The agency posted this statement on its website:

"Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will occur this afternoon and evening, with multiple rounds of storms possible. The strongest storms will be east of Interstate 25. Expect large hail up to three inches in diameter, as well as damaging wind gusts over 60 mph and a couple of tornadoes possible. The greatest risk of severe storms will be over Goshen County of Wyoming and over the central and southern Nebraska Panhandle."
