Cheyenne Police Want You To Know…

Have you seen the electronic sign at Morrie and Lincolnway that says: IF YOU RUN THE RED, YOU'LL PAY THE GREEN?

The long arm of the law here in Cheyenne are cracking down on red light runners, seat belt violations, DUI's and more. I wonder how many people run that light, the reason they have an electronic sign facing for Westbound drivers approaching Morrie on Lincolnway.

Do you stop when the yellow shines, mid way through or punch it as it turns red? Most of us stop and wait for the green. I looked on the CPD Facebook page and they call it RED LIGHT ENFORCEMENT. Today our Traffic Unit will be conducting red light enforcement at 8th Ave / Central and 8th Avenue / Warren. Drive safe!
