The Cheyenne VA Medical Center and Adaptive Adventures of Colorado have teamed up to offer a day of family and sports events tomorrow (June 15) at Lion's Park in Cheyenne, according to a VA news release.

Adaptive Adventures specializes in sports opportunities for children, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities.  VA recreation therapist Kristi Ruben said the event will provide opportunities for recumbent cycling, climbing on a portable wall, paddle boards, and kayaks that have been adapted for people with disabilities.

The event is free and open to the public. It will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Lion's Park. People can register ahead of time here.
