Cheyenne Weather Service Warns Of Poor Visibility Friday Morning
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about poor visibility in some areas of eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle this morning.
The service posted this statement on its website Friday morning:
"Areas of freezing fog will continue across mainly the North Platte River Valley from Torrington eastward across western Nebraska. Visibilities have been reduced to one- eighth mile at times, and these conditions are expected to continue past sunrise Friday morning. Light ice accumulation may result in slick roadways, especially on bridges.''
