Cheyenne Weather Service Warns of Severe Storms, Fire Danger

The Cheyenne office of the National Weather Service has issued the following statement for Friday, June 29:

• Red Flag Warnings continue for the higher terrain of the Laramie, Snowy and Sierra Madre Mountain Ranges until 8 pm today.
• Overall confidence is high on critical humidity and wind thresholds being met for the areas under the Red Flag Warnings.
• A few severe storms possible later this afternoon into this evening. Large hail and strong winds the main threat.
