A 39-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing charges after allegedly entering a 35-year-old woman's house, pepper spraying her and hitting her with a billy club.

Court records say a deputy was called to the victim's house on April 1 after Barbara Holley reportedly entered her bedroom, sprayed her with pepper spray and struck her multiple times with a 12 to 14 inch billy club.

The victim reportedly had bruises on her knee and red welts on her back and neck.  Medical personnel also had to flush the pepper spray out of her eyes, according to an affidavit.

Police were able to stop Holley a short time later and recover the billy club from her vehicle.  The pepper spray was recovered at the victim's house.

Holley was arrested and charged with unlawful entry into an occupied structure and two counts of simple battery.  If convicted, she could face up to 11 years in prison.

Holley is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $3,000 cash bond.  Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 10 at 1:30 p.m.
