A dramatic Cheyenne Frontier Days saddle bronc riding competition highlighted Championship Sunday at the 123rd "Daddy of 'Em All' and Brody Cress spurred to the victory for a history-making third straight year. The Hillsdale, WY man wowed the crowd with an 87.5-point ride. Just world champion Wade Sundell was left with a chance to overcome Cress but a foul at the gate injured Sundell's leg. He cowboyed up and took advantage of a re-ride opportunity falling short by a point-and-a-half. Cress was there to help the only man that could beat him. Cress was a state champion wrestler at Cheyenne East High School and has rallied back from a severely broken ankle that he incurred last season.
