Cheyenne’s Carey Building Now Just A Hole In The Ground [VIDEO]

Making way for Cheyenne's new courthouse means taking away the old Carey building.

Drivers in downtown Cheyenne should expect detours around the Carey Building over the next several weeks while crews work to demolish the structure. But you can walk up and see the work from across the street.

Drivers will still be able to use 17th and pedestrians will be able to use the sidewalk on the east side of Carey between 17th and 18th.  The sidewalk on the west side of the block will remain open north of the alleyway.
