A third of Wyoming football’s spring practice sessions have concluded after Thursday, which saw the Cowboys go for over two hours in War Memorial Stadium.

In the latest post-practice video above, Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl called it a spirited practice. He described their first work on third-down passing situations and how the QB’s handled it. He praised three members of the defensive line for their efforts (Ravontae Holt, Victor Jones, and Javaree Jackson), pointed to sophomore Chad Muma as a player coming on at linebacker, was asked about the injury status along the offensive line, and also shared some thoughts on the young defensive ends.

One big part to Coach Bohl’s visit with the media was his assessment at this point of spring practice.

Wyoming returns to the practice field Saturday for some small contact work. They will have their first big scrimmage in next Saturday’s outreach practice in Casper. That is slated for April 13 at Cheney Alumni Field located at Natrona County High School. It will start at 1 p.m. and is open to the public. Players will be available for autographs and photos after that scrimmage.

After tomorrow, there are three weeks left in spring drills. It concludes with the Cowboys’ annual Spring Game in Laramie April 27 at 2 p.m. in War Memorial Stadium.
