Couples Can Marry Themselves in Colorado

No judge needed. That's right, in Colorado, a couple can just marry themselves.

I know this because 11 years ago, my husband and I married ourselves in a tree. In Larimer County, all you need is a valid ID and $30 to make your union official. When you fill out the paperwork, just circle the option for the type of ceremony that indicates "self".
