The Crow Creek Revival Committee has been given $150,000 for a streambank restoration project.

The money from the Wyoming Wildlife and Natural Resource Trust Fund will be used by the Crow Creek Revival Initiative [CCR] for 0.6 miles of streambank restoration along Crow Creek from Happy Jack Road to Westland Road in the Cheyenne area.

The work will include vegetation enhancements, according to a news release from the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilities.

According to the release, the project will also improve water quality, increase habitat and provide recreation for Cheyenne residents as well as visitors.
