Denver Broncos Fans Set New World Record for Fake Mustaches
It's a well known fact that the Denver Broncos have the best fans in football. They proved it again Sunday night during the Broncos' upset victory over the New England Patriots, setting a new Guinness World Record for the most number of fake mustaches ever worn in one place.
Fans who attended the game on Sunday night received a fake orange mustache upon entry. At the two-minute warning before halftime, nearly 77,000 of those fans put on their fake mustaches in unison, easily breaking the previous record of 2,268, which was set at an event in Iowa in 2013.
Even fans who couldn't make the game got in on the fun, donning their own fake mustaches and tweeting pictures with the hashtag #Broncostache. The record setting promotion was part of an effort to help raise awareness for men's health issues.
