I asked Nikki Rose of The Cheyenne Animal Shelter “What animal has been at the shelter the longest?” "That would be Riley. Riley is a shepherd mix that has been at the shelter since summer. She’s a really sweet girl with a shy personality so she’s not one to dazzle you when you walk in the door, and it takes a little bit of time with her. She’s an amazing dog about 3-years-old and just needs a chance.”

If you’re ready to bring some love into your life and into the life of Riley, give her a fur-ever home and she will give you love in only the way a dog can.

"Riley! Riley is a shy girl initially, but an absolute love once you've won her trust. She enjoys car rides, butt scratches, snuggling with her people and taking all the squeaky toys for herself. She gets along with cats (as long as they don't mind her trying to play occasionally!) and dogs. She's learning to share, and she's a quick study! Riley is house and crate trained. If you're willing to be patient with her while she gets to know you, you will not be disappointed in the love she has to give."

Riley is currently in a foster home, but would love to schedule a time to meet you! Just give her friends at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter a call --(307)632-6655!

If you would like to help the animal shelter, you can make a financial or time donation that would really help. They are also in great need of laundry detergent.
