Do you have plans for Labor Day weekend? How about some free entertainment and fun in the Mile High City.

This weekend is the 28th annual Taste of Colorado in downtown Denver, an end-of-Summer celebration. At Civic Center Park, near the Colorado State Capitol building, get a taste of more than 50 area food establishments, shop at 280 marketplace vendors and artisans and enjoy live entertainment on six stages. Admission is free.

Some of the musical highlights include:

On Friday, September 2- Asia featuring John Payne at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 3-Pat Travers at 1 p.m. and the Neville Brothers perform at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, September 4-Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone at 1 p.m. and Blood, Sweat and Tears take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Monday, September 5-on the Variety Stage see Chris Daniels and the Kings at 3:45 p.m. and Opie Gone Bad at 6 p.m.
