Chris Bray and his father attended the first space shuttle launch back in 1981 — and the last, just a few weeks ago. Bray posted a link to the photo on Reddit on Monday and the reaction was immediate — almost 600 comments have been left thus far, and various media outlets have picked up the story.

We think it’s pretty amazing, too.
