Former Wyoming Athlete Will Compete In ‘The Titan Games’
Former Cody High School and University of Wyoming track star Quinn Rivera will be on national television tomorrow night. Rivera is one of 32 male contestants competing in the new NBC series "The Titan Games".
Rivera, who graduated from UW in 2017 and is now attending medical school in Washington, was an All-State football player in high school and still holds the state record in the pole vault. Chosen among 10,000 applicants to compete on the new series hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johson, Rivera filmed the show in September. Although he hasn't seen the show yet and agreed not to divulge the results, he predicts that producers will play up his Cowboy State roots.
“I think the network liked that I’m from podunk Wyoming,” Rivera told the Cody Enterprise. “I’m sure they built that up."
Along with attending medical school, Rivera also owns an apparel company called Humbled Daily.
