Fort Collins Police Investigating Friday Stabbing [Video]

Police in Fort Collins are asking for the public's help in their investigation of a Friday stabbing incident, according to a release on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.

According to the release, 22-year-old Cody McGovern and his neighbor, a 61-year-old man whose name has not been released, were seen arguing on Friday afternoon in the 2200 block of W. Mulberry St.

As the discussion became more heated, McGovern allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked the older man. Police soon arrived and arrested McGovern, who was treated for minor injuries and booked into the Laramie County Jail on First Degree Assault charges. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
