The Wyoming Highway Patrol is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and/or a vehicle involved in a hit and run fatal crash Friday on I-25 just north of the Wyoming/Colorado line.  The patrol says Jose Blea of Pueblo ,Colorado was northbound on Interstate 25.  The crash was reported by passerby just after 7:00 a.m., however there was no witness to the crash that has come forward.  Evidence at the scene indicates Blea’s motorcycle was struck from behind in the northbound driving lane.  The collision caused the motorcycle and the rider to catapult off the right side of the roadway and down an embankment.  Blea came to rest approximately 30 feet east of the roadway and the motorcycle came to rest approximately 65 feet east of Blea.  At this time the other vehicle and driver has not been located or identified.

If you have ANY information please call the Wyoming Highway Patrol at 1-800-442-9090 to talk to a Patrol dispatcher. At this time the exact time of the crash is unknown however, probably occurred during darkness on late Thursday evening or early Friday morning.
