Pandemic, or no pandemic, Fort Collins loves the Holiday Twin Drive-In (but it is a socially-distant, COVID-safe activity, too). As spring arrives, so has the theater's opening weekend, and it's right around the corner.

We reached out to the Holiday Twin on Facebook, and the drive-in confirmed that it will open on Friday, April 9 for the 2021 season, nearly a month earlier than the theater opened last year. They also let us know to follow the Facebook page for tickets and announcements on what they'll be showing.

The Holiday Twin is a rare gem (there are only a handful of drive-in theaters left in the entire country, let alone the state of Colorado), and it's been showing flicks in Fort Collins for over 50 years.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, it was one of the few places we could actually get out of our homes. Last year, the Holiday Twin not only showed movies, but it became one of the only places to see live music and standup comedy. In spring of 2021, it also became a sports venue, airing Colorado Eagles hockey games.

Follow the Holiday Twin here for a lineup announcement.
