Saints Ink Carl Granderson to 4-year, $52 million Extension
LARAMIE -- Marcus Epps got paid this offseason. So did Logan Wilson and Andrew Wingard.
Now it's their former Wyoming teammate's turn.
Carl Granderson Saturday agreed to a four-year, $52 million dollar contract extension to remain in New Orleans. More than $35 million of that deal is guaranteed, making the 27-year-old the highest paid undrafted defensive lineman in the 20 years contract stats have been tracked, according to ESPN.

The fifth-year pro has tallied 17 sacks off the edge for the Saints and added 108 tackles in 56 career games. Through two outings this fall, Granderson has 2.5 sacks, seven QB pressures and forced a fumble in last Monday's 20-17 victory at Carolina.
Granderson's last contract with the team was a two-year deal worth $5.2 million. Only $240,000 of that was guaranteed.
During his time in Laramie, Granderson registered 173 total tackles, including 35.5 for loss. The 6-foot-5, 261-pound Sacramento, Calif., product also tacked on 16.5 sacks, including 8.5 in 2017.
