Banana Ball has been sweeping the nation for the last couple of years, selling out MLB, NFL, and NCAA stadiums along the way. In 2026, Wyoming is one of only five states that won't experience Banana Ball, and the Casper Spuds have begun a campaign to ensure we don't miss out in 2027.

Spuds owners, Paul and Kristi Hack, have rubbed elbows with Banana Ball representatives a few times. Kristi has even performed the National Anthem at a Banana Ball game a couple of years ago, helping to put Casper on the Banana Ball radar and, with hopes of bringing the excitement of Banana Ball to Mike Lansing Field.

Here's the plan to get the Banana Ball execs' attention.

Even though Casper will not host a Banana Ball game in 2026, the Casper Spuds will be back entertaining baseball fans all summer at Mike Lansing Field. 2026 season and single-game tickets, along with the newest line of Spuds gear is available at spudsbaseball.com

We may still be five months away from the start of the 2026 season, but the Spuds' front office has been working to scout, recruit, and sign players as soon as last summer's season ended. There will be many returning players, as well as quite a few new faces, but the same Spuds team spirit.

If you are interested in becoming a host family for a Spuds player or intern, you can volunteer by sending a message on the Spuds Facebook Page or filling out the host family form at this link.
