Wow! That was close. Nothing like coming down to the wire.

Longmire Days in Durant (Buffalo) this weekend is happening, and most of the stars scheduled to be there will be.

If you haven't heard, there's a major strike going on in Hollywood. SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) & Writers Guild of America, are the union that represents most Hollywood types, and they are striking for the first time since in quite a while.

That being said, one of the things that many of the actors can't do is attend events like Longmire Days...unless you have a waiver. The organizers of Longmire Days were down to the last minute, but were able to secure this important waiver.

From Longmire Days.com

We have some great news! Longmire Days has been given permission to proceed from SAG-AFTRA and events with actors will occur as planned. When we receive the written permission to proceed there may be slight adjustments moving forward with the events, but we'll be making those adjustments accordingly and keep you informed as soon as we know via our website and email for event ticket holders.

What's this mean?

The show will go on and all events that were scheduled around the weekend will happen. There may be a few changes to those events, but luckily, the stars of the show will be able to attend.

Which stars will be there?

You obviously can't have Longmire Days without Walt Longmire, right? Of course. So that means the shows title character will be there.

Robert Taylor - Walt Longmire

John Bishop - Bob Barnes (originally was going to have to pull out, then when the waiver was secured, he was able to re-commit)

Derek Phillips - Travis Murphy

Louanne Stephens - Ruby

Tickets are still available and some events don't require tickets. Find out all the details at Longmire Days website
