At the end of the day on Saturday, the Schneider's were sitting with 21.00 pounds, but the duo had an outstanding Sunday afternoon of fishing, weighing in 42.17 pounds of walleye. Team Schneider, caught their huge 5 winning fish in just a 40 minute period, with the smallest of that time period being just over 26 inches, and the largest being over a whopping 31 inches.

The Wyoming Walleye Stampede has organized and ran by Brian Woodward and Mitch Bauers for the last 15 years and Woodward says the one day weight of 42.17 is a tournament best at the Glendo portion of the tournament series.

Not only do the boys get bragging rights, but they also made over $10,000 in prize money. Not bad for a couple days of fishing.

Team Schneider has been fishing the Stampede for years and have only been able to come in 4th place, but their 25 years of Glendo fishing came in handy.

2023 marks the 15th Wyoming Walleye Stampede and they will return to Glendo for round 2 of the series on June 3rd and 4th, then head to Seminoe July 15-16th, and the championship weekend will be at Boysen August 19 & 20.

If you think you'd like to get in on the fishing, check out the Wyoming Walleye Stampede website for all the details.
