
Surprising Bragging Habits That Define Life In Wyoming
Wyomingites are a proud people, and a new study from the team at Action Network proves it.
The study surveyed 2,000 Americans, all over 18, about how often and what topics they brag about. According to the numbers, Wyomingites spend over 4 hours and 30 minutes per month bragging.
Excuse me?
I know, right?
You're going to flip when you read what the most common 'bragging' topic is...Winning a bet or a competition, about 1 hour and 55 minutes per week.
Ok, there we go, that makes a little more sense.
I hang out with a lot of people who love to show off the fish they caught or the big game they harvested. So, I can see that.
I've also heard many people talking about the hikes they've taken and the great yard sale or auction items they were able to get at a great deal.
I don't see a problem with confidence, and being proud of your accomplishments.
Although, on the flip side, the following common bragging topic in Wyoming is the success of a person's sex life, just one minute less, with 1 hour 54 minutes.
Ok, that one was a curveball. I didn't see that coming. Wyomingites seem a little more tight-lipped on that type of topic.
The survey doesn't mention the location of the Wyoming participants, but it seems likely that they may have been from Laramie, where the main campus of UW is located.

Looking at some of the common topics for bragging, "Relationship or Partner" is the most common, followed by "Knowledge of Sports," and "Sex Life."
