There's no doubt that Garth Brooks has always been a fan of the legendary Chris LeDoux. When Garth opened his new bar, Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, with a concert on Friday, Chris LeDoux was there.

Well sort of.

Garth was wearing one of the 'Just LeDoux It' hoodies as he took the stage Friday night.

Of course, Garth has a long history with the LeDoux family that goes all the way back to when he mentioned "an old tape of Chris LeDoux" in the song "Much To Young (To Feel This Damn Old). The pair then collaborated on the song "Whatcha Gonna Do With A Cowboy" in 1992. When Chris passed away in 2005, Garth recorded the song "Good Ride Cowboy" to honor him. Even as recently as 2021, Garth was part of the dedication of the new statue at Cheyenne Frontier Days.

To say they had a long, fun and exciting relationship, would be an understatement.

If you've ever met Garth, you know that he's one of the nicest and genuine guys there is and he's been known to show love for Wyoming from time to time as well. Many times its in the form of a hat tip to his ol buddy Chris LeDoux.

It's always cool when Garth takes time to show his love for Wyoming. This is the Inside Studio G from just after he played CFD in 2021.
