Reward Offered for Information in Laramie Eggings, Vandalisms
The Laramie Police Department is asking for the public's help in cracking several recent egging and vandalism cases.
According to the call summary for Sunday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 25, officers responded to a whopping 49 vandalism calls last week, only two less than the previous 10 weeks combined!
"Thanksgiving week had a low volume of activity and a low variety, but OH MY, the vandalism," the department said of the numbers.
Police in a Facebook post at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday said, "We have had a surge in 'eggings' both to houses and vehicles, starting September 15th with a large uptick over the Thanksgiving holiday, as well as rocks thrown through vehicle windows last Monday, November 20th."
Police are encouraging anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at 307-742-CARE (2273).
"Information leading to an arrest may be rewarded with $500," the post reads.
