Cheyenne’s Zoey Brown to Play Hockey at the UW in Laramie

Cheyenne East senior Zoey Brown recently signed to play hockey at the University of Wyoming.

Brown played the 2022-23 season with the Cheyenne Capitals, who finished with a 9-9-4 overall record.

Brown scored four goals and had 17 assists for 21 points during the season. She also had 12 penalty minutes.

In four games at the state tournament, Zoey had six points. She scored one goal and assisted on five others.

In two games for Team Wyoming in mid-January 2023, Brown had one goal and two assists in a pair of wins over the Rushmore Thunder in Rapid City, SD.

The University of Wyoming women’s club hockey team plays in the ACHA Division I league. The season runs from mid-September to mid-April.
