The Camels of Campbell County bounced back from a  big loss to Cheyenne East in week zero with a big 45-0 win over Laramie in week 1. The Camels opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 1 yard run for a touchdown by quarterback Mason Drube. That was followed by a Drube TD pass to Aidan Dorr and Drube continued his stellar play with a TD toss to Adam Gibson.

That Gibson touchdown catch went for 44 yards and later in the first quarter, Drube spotted Seth Peterson for 55 yards and another score. By that time, the Camels led 28-0. Campbell County tacked another touchdown in the 2nd quarter on an 8-yard run by Trenton Rosenau.

The Camels are 1-1 on the year and will travel to Rock Springs this week. Laramie is 0-2 and is still looking for their first points of the season. The Plainsmen will have their home opener on Friday to take on the Sheridan Broncs.
