When it comes to drive-in movie theaters in Colorado, Fort Collins' Holiday Twin ranks among the very best. It's a part of the city's history as well as its entertainment options.

The Movies That Were Shown During the 2024 Season at Holiday Twin Drive-In

It's hard to call yourself a fan of Fort Collins if you haven't been to the Holiday Twin at least once. You would have to believe that there's someone out there each season that comes every week to see a double-feature.

The Holiday Twin Drive-In has been a part of Fort Collins, along with Northern Colorado, for over five decades. Tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people have seen shows there in its time.

When the Holiday Twin first opened in 1968, movies that folks might have seen there include "Rosemary's Baby," "Funny Girl," and "The Odd Couple." I would pay good money to see any of those, today, at the Holiday Twin.

When the Holiday Twin opened for the 2024 season, I got the idea to keep track of the movies that they showed every week. There were 26 weeks in their 2024 season; 26 weeks, two screens, 52 double-features. That's a lot of movies; not all "terrific," but not all "blech."

I think a list like this is like a time capsule; going back in time and seeing what was playing from spring into fall of certain year. in the 2024 Holiday Twin showed new movies, old movies, movies only about cars (for one weekend) and wrapped up the season with just Halloween-themed movies.
