After 16 Years, a Great Colorado Winery Reaches End of Vine
There are fewer and fewer wineries across the nation and Colorado these days. With things trending downward, one winery in Denver has called it "quits."
What adds to the sadness of the closure, is that it has been woman-owned and operated all this time. 16 years is quite a testament to their hard work; it's just sad that it has to come to an end.
If anything, they take a great name with them.
There's an old saying, a theory, that if a monkey typed randomly on a typewrite for infinity, that monkey would end up writing everything that's every been written, including the works of Shakespeare: The Infinite Monkey Theorem.
I remember the theorem only because of an old David Letterman joke where - "if an infinite number of monkeys sat typing at an infinite of typewriters... the smell in the room would be unbearable." But that's not really here, nor there, when it comes to this winery.

The Denver Post has the story on how Infinite Monkey Theorem Winery in Denver announced it will be ending operations by the end of 2024.
From their Facebook post:
....After 16 incredible years of creating mountain-grown, city-made wines, we are saying goodbye to our beloved taproom and winemaking operations. This journey has been one of innovation, passion, and connection, and while it’s hard to let go, we are deeply grateful for the community that has supported us along the way!
I had been to Infinite Monkey Theorem only once, but enjoyed the experience. It was good wine in a great venue.
The closure comes due to the downward trend in people going out for wine, and having never really recovered from the pandemic, which had forced them to close their Austin location, which had been open for four years, in 2019.
