Denver Rated Most Polluted City In U.S. For Consecutive Days
What’s been top of mind for most Coloradans recently has been the air quality as of late.
Smoke from Canadian wildfires has been filling up the Colorado skyline for the past few days and has seriously affected the quality of our air.
However, it’s already been an issue for quite some time now.
In fact, the Denver-Aurora Metro Area is the sixth worst region in the United States for air pollution.
As it would turn out, cities along the Front Range like Fort Collins and Colorado Springs are also affected.
It’s to the point where Colorado was recently given $328 million in grants to fix this issue.
As it would turn out, the smoke has made it so Denver and the Front Range in general has some of the worst air quality in the world right now.

However, it seems like this trend is continuing to roll along.
Today, Denver yet again tops the list for the U.S.
While it did go down in the global rankings to 13th, the air quality is actually worse today then it has been since this all began at 90.
