Albany County Emergency Management is offering sandbags to people who live along the Little Laramie River in an area where the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning.

That's according to a post on the Albany County Sheriff's Office Facebook page:

''Residents along the Little Laramie River in the Flood Warning Area:
Sandbags and sand are available to anyone in the potential flood area that are at risk of flooding. Please contact EMA at (307) 721-1815 to setup a time to pick up needed supplies from Centennial Volunteer Fire Station.''
Here is the area covered by the warning as of Friday morning:

Wet Weekend Weather May Make Flooding Worse

The weather service last report said water is likely to remain high in the area through the weekend. A wet weekend is expected in southeast Wyoming, which could worsen the flooding.
