A 25-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly committing aggravated assault.

According to a booking sheet, police arrested James Malik Gulley at the Loaf 'N Jug at 820 Randall Ave. at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1.

Felony Warrant

Police say Gulley had a felony warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for aggravated assault and battery - serious bodily injury, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

The crime is alleged to have occurred on or about June 23.

Gulley was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.

Bond Set at $5K Cash

The following morning, July 2, Gulley was seen in Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charge.

His bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, July 11, at 11 a.m.
