Cheyenne Man Charged With Attempted Manslaughter in Road Rage Shooting

A 29-year-old Cheyenne man is facing four felony charges after allegedly shooting a man during a road rage incident.

Laramie County Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Warner says the shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at mile marker 2 on U.S. 85 south of Cheyenne.

According to a booking sheet, Bear Heritage Larkman V reportedly shot 49-year-old Colorado resident Mr. Clark in the right leg one time and then fled the scene.

"Larkman was contacted by phone and agreed to surrender to deputies," said Warner. "At around 5:30 p.m., Larkman was arrested without incident and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center."

Larkman was subsequently charged with attempted manslaughter and three counts of aggravated assault.

He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Tuesday morning, during which his bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 14 at 11 a.m.
