Cheyenne Police Sharpen Emergency Driving Skills
Cheyenne Police last week sharpened their driving skills in potentially high-pressure situations with special Emergency Vehicle Operations [EVO] training.
Training Was Conducted In CFD Parking Lot
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page. The training was conducted in the Cheyenne Frontier Days parking lot.
According to the post During EVO, officers navigate challenging courses that simulate real-world driving scenarios. This training helps them practice quick decision making, accident avoidance, and safe vehicle handling."
The post goes on to say "Driving is a critical part of our job, and exercises like these help us practice essential skills for responding to emergencies. And yes…it’s also very fun!"
