Cheyenne Man Charged With Burglary After Violating Walmart Ban
A 32-year-old Cheyenne man is being held on a $3,000 cash bond after being charged with burglary.
Man Wanted for Burglary Arrested
According to a booking sheet, Curvonta Lee Moye was arrested at Walterscheid Boulevard and Serenade Drive at 8:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

The arresting Laramie County Sheriff's deputy says Moye had a warrant for burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on Sept. 22.
It's alleged that on or about Aug. 28, Moye, who's not allowed to be in Walmart, entered the store at 580 Livingston Ave. in Cheyenne and committed theft.
Moye was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.
Initial Court Appearance
On Thursday, Sept. 25, Moye was seen in circuit court in front of Judge TJ Forwood on the charge.
Forwood appointed Moye a public defender and asked the state for recommendation on bond.
Bond Set at $3K Cash
In light of Moye's criminal history -- a child endangering conviction in April of 2021, possession of methamphetamine in May of 2021, unlawful contact in September of 2021, and misdemeanor drug possessions in July, October, and November of 2023 and April of 2024 -- the state recommended a $3,000 cash bond, which Forwood believed was appropriate.
Moye's next court date will be a preliminary hearing on Friday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m.
